The HARD-to-FIND Vintage Milk Glass PEDESTAL CAKE STAND / PLATE / COMPOTE / DISH.... Featuring the sought-after "Backward C" or "Lacy Edge" stand-up gallery rim from Fenton Glass c. It's in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with just a light hint of wear and a fabulous shine on the plate, measuring 8 1/2" across the top x 5 1/4" high x 3 7/8 across the base. There are the usual old mould marks from the glassmaking process, like bubbles, straw marks, swirls/striations, slight roughness to touch of mould seams, and unique moulding anomalies (very slight lean of plate depending how it is turned); please view all pictures. A beautiful BRIGHT WHITE milk glass treasure that blends well with any décor, and it would make an awesome addition for Pedestal Cake Stand collections, or a VERY SPECIAL GIFT too!
