I do this in the hope that it will be inspirational to many of you with emphasis on the younger generations in reviving interest in our heritage and the creativity of our forefathers. We all have a rich history in common which is something that we should be curious and proud of! I invite any and all questions that give me a chance to pass on my years of experience. That is what it is all about! This candy container has a slightly different appeal than the figural clear glass candy containers.

It definitely was designed to appeal to young children but also would have an appeal to young women and couples of the era. Perhaps somewhat telling is the transfer decoration of a young fisherman on one side of the suitcase along with the definitively noted "Souvenir 1907" noted on the opposite side. This opens a rather wide variety of possibilities of it being a souvenir of a fishing trim to perhaps a souvenir of a business convention trip of a young man. The suitcase is approximately 3 ¾" x 2" x 3 tall (not including the handle).

The only identification is "pat appl'd for" on one of the sides. The suitcase does retain most of its decoration, which leads me to believe that it was not exposed to children's play. It is generally in excellent condition.
