Antique Art Deco Milk Glass Shade Flush Mount Ceiling Light Brass Fixture

  
This great antique original light has a brass ceiling fixture with a stepped milk glass shade; the overall length from the ceiling is 11 1/2" and the shade is 8" across at it's widest. It gives off a soft glow and looks beautiful even when it is not lit. The pull chain is 22, which can be shortened to whatever length you desire; switch works well now, but since it is the original switch, I would suggest that the light be direct wired to a wall switch so that it doesn't wear out. A really lovely light, the glass in excellent condition, but the fixture has light wear. It was previously stripped of old paint and the brass has been left to soften in color. There is no finish on it, so it can be left to mellow, polished up, or it can be given a couple coats of spray lacquer to seal it as it is now. The exception to this is a very large or complex object that may require building a box.
