Original SOCONY Milk Glass GAS PUMP Globe LENS c1929

  
The original Deco era red and blue lettering is in very good condition... Still nice and bright and bold. It states from top to bottom, Socony Reg. Motor Gasoline Standard Oil Co. Of New York and has SONY in large stylized letters at the top and sides.

It has some edge chipping, mostly seen on the inside edge... And a few minor ones can be seen from the front side but would probably be hidden by a metal circular frame which would have originally encased this glass plus a matching back side one. A really rare find, which has a date stamped on near the very bottom edge that looks like 9 - 29.
