This is a beautiful antique Victorian Cranberry glass and enamel miniature lidded stein! In all my years I have not seen another! It looks like American baby coin spot or thumbprint design with hand painted enamel flowers, but then it has a pewter and milk glass lid like some of the German pieces... Maybe the glass was made in America and the lid was ordered to fit it?

I just love it and it is a must for anyone that collects cranberry glass. It measures 4 1/2" tall to the top of the lid, 5 3/8" to the top of the thump piece, and 3 1/2 across with the clear applied handle. The only flaw I can find is a tiny flake on the top rim right where the pewter hinge is..

The top has a gold edge. I tried to photo this.. It is so minor and not easily seen. The handle is intact with no cracks or damage.
