1890's Golden Eagle Mustard Milk Glass Owl Canning Jar withOriginal Insert & Band

  
This is a very rare 1890 Golden Eagle Mustard Milk Glass Owl Canning Jar With Original Eagle Insert and Band. The Owl Jar is over 130 years old. It's in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or flea bites. I've had this jar in my collection for over 30 years. It's really hard to get a good picture of the Milk Glass Eagle. There are pictures at last that show it better. Also, the Milk Glass Eagle insert is very rare and hard to come by.

You usually see this jar with no lid. The Eagle insert is actually worth more than the jar. I believe that the band is original also.
