913 Antique FRENCH Milk Glass Buttons, Original Cards, 4 Sizes, Victorian
HUGE quantity of ANTIQUE milk glass buttons on the original cards stamped "FRANCE".... 913 buttons total (if my math is right).... 8 cards are complete and original and the remaining 5 cards either have a few buttons missing or are partial/cut cards....
A few buttons are loose/unsewn from the cards.... There are 4 different sizes: 360 buttons measure 5/8" diameter (on 5 cards), 144 buttons measure 9/16" diameter (on 3 cards), 130 buttons measure 1/2" diameter (on 3 cards), and 279 buttons measure 7/16" diameter (on 2 long, narrow cards).... With one exception, all of the cards are stamped FRANCE on the back....One has a different mark with a rampant lion and flag.... Some of the cards have original penciled prices on back sides "2 dozen for 5 cents"....
