Milk glass Flaccus covered dish. I have often wondered if it was a marriage but was told by a person with more experience that the 2 pieces were made separately and put together randomly so many times the colors were off. That may be true but over the years it is still a possibility that this is a marriage.

The top is much whiter and the bottom is more opaque and grey in color. In any case it is the only one i had ever seen and so I took it as it was. It is not perfect, there are heat stress lines, some chips and a possible bubble on the edge of the base... Please see all the photos.

I would ask much more if it was. Even so my original cost was double my asking price. Fortunately for collectors the internet has made collecting much easier than driving all over to look for a piece. Flaccus pieces are very detailed and interesting.
