Pre-owned Antique 1889 Atterbury Glass Company Chick In Egg Pile or Chick on an egg pile Covered Dish. It's Milk Glass with a Lace or Dancing Sailor boy base. There is a patent date of Aug 6 1889 molded into the lid.

It has faceted red glass eyes. It's in overall used condition. There are a few tiny nicks around the rim of the lid. There is one chip in the lid noted in the pictures. When held up to the light you can see the ring of fire along the edge.
