Large milk glass vase 15-1/2 inches peacock heron quail birds

  

A white milk glass floor vase by Gillinder of Philadelphia in a high relief, "puffy" molded design featuring exotic birds in an Art Deco style. Although I can't be completely sure, I believe it is early, possibly dating to the 1920s. The bottom is unsigned and flat with no protrusion, two characteristics of original production examples.

Also, from what I've read online, the 1990s reissues of the puffy bird vase in white milk glass were primarily done in a much smaller size. Although they can't be seen in the photo, the base does show quite a few scratches, indicating some age. The vase also has more definition in person; the lighting wasn't really ideal when I took the photos. Its condition is very good to excellent.
