Has a lovely glass design with hand painted pastel florals & bows. No chips, cracks or flaws. The lid has the WC Westmoreland logo.Measures 8½ tall including finial lid. Top box measures 4½ square. This beautifully done urn is hand painted on white milk glass by Westmoreland Glass Company in the late 1950's. Several techniques went into creating this piece, English hobnail, paneled sides, footed base and detailed hand painted cabbage roses and bows. The top of the urn is gold trimmed then flows to a paneled side that is embellished with lavender bows, green garland and pink cabbage roses.
From there is more of the hobnail with gold trim to a paneled stem that goes to the round footed base with three painted lines of gold. Finishing the base is more hobnail pattern. The maker's mark of the stacked WG is on the bottom of this piece. Excellent condition and would stand out on a mantle or with in a milk glass collection. Our aim is your satisfaction.
