White MILK glass OWL DRUG bottle with ROSE WATER & Glycerine copied label 4 inch

  
A 4 1/8 inch tall beautiful antique WHITE MILK GLASS colored COSMETIC bottle put out by the OWL DRUG Co. Important, the paper label is a color photo copy of an original Owl Drug label. The bottle is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand B lown I nto M old bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it all the way back to very early 1900. Bottle embossed : The Owl Drug Co. High on the back shoulder, then on other side it is embossed with a picture of an owl perched on a druggists' mortar, stirring a pestle.

The mortar is embossed with " TODCO / TRADE MARK ". TODCo = The Owl Drug Co. Condition : Bottle is in very nice condition.

It may have some traces of wear and age, but there isn't anything specifically wrong with it. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. Age : An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca.

This bottle is still corked and still has a trace of ROSE WATER in it. Though this bottle is old and original, the paper label is a color photo copy, a facsimile made from the an original label that is on one of these exact bottles.

These old WHITE MILK GLASS Owl Drug bottles come in 6 different sizes, from the smallest 3 1/4" tall size (1 ounce) up to the 6" tall size (8 ounces). This one is a smaller one, about a 2 oz.

Most of these milk glass bottles contained cosmetic lotions and scents, hand/face cream, like Jergens lotion of today, hygienic cleansers, Calamine Lotion for poison oak, sun burn and skin cures, so the white bottles were a reflection of lotions they carried and the pure, clean, and unblemished look that would result from the use of them. This is a super nice example of one of these bottles that looks like it was never in the ground , check it out!
