PAIR VTG 1930's Skyscraper Art Deco Milk Glass Cylinder Lamps RESTORED
PAIR VTG 1930's Skyscraper Art Deco Milk Glass Cylinder Lamps RESTORED. Both classic and bold, these art deco lamps are made from thick pressed milk glass and date to the mid-1930s. They have been restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary use.
Exterior metal surfaces have been professionally finished in triple plate chrome. Original switched bulb sockets have been placed with new like kind. Iring has been replaced with new reproduction cotton covered power cord and appointed with vintage bakelite plugs and new insulators. The original glass shades and bases are in excellent condition. These lamps utilizes standard medium base Edison bulbs (not included).
It us advisable to use LED type bulbs which generate less heat. NOTE: The pull chain sometimes sticks as it passes through the hole in the metal cup, so it is adviseable to hold the lamp while turning it on and off. Also, you will notice there is a hole in the back of each cup. Approximate dimensions are as follows. Height to top of finial: 11.75.
