Shiny milk glass working elephant made for a very short time, about 5 months, in 1972. Most of these elephants underwent the satin treatment. I could not find a logo anywhere. Notice how the trunk is different from the ones made today. It looks more natural the way it is.
I suspect this is one of the earliest ones made and that the mould may have been tweaked later because the newer ones have the trunk separated from the body. About 3" high and 3.75" long.
Unfortunately, this has a crack (about 1.5 long) running along its side. You can see it in photos 2, 4 and 5. I believe it likely happened in the making but don't know for certain.
