Rare Full Set Owl Drug Company Milk Glass Bottles All With Strong Embossing

  

Here is a rare full set of The Owl Drug Company milk glass medicine bottles with very strong embossing. I collected these over several decades, swapping out less desirable examples, for better quality examples. For those who believe most of the fun is in the owning, rather than the hunt, your search is over.

For those of you familiar with these bottles, you know, the large one is difficult to find, but the small one is very rare. Also, it's difficult to find these milk glass bottles with very strong embossings.

Sometimes they are very weak and washed out, but they are usually flattened--with a loss of definition. All of these bottles have exceptionally strong embossing. Blown and mold with a hand-tooled lip, a full set of these bottles is a thing of beauty.

Most of these milk glass bottles have swirls in the glass that can be seen in just the right light. They were not dug--it's just a peculiarity of milk glass. I WILL CONSIDER A TRADE FOR THE SARAH CITRATE. No photographs have been doctored. None of my bottles have been tumbled as tumbling Irreversibly modifies the character of the glass.
