This is a rare and very collectible Antique Opaline Milk Glass OLD KING COLE MUSTARD JAR Covered Dish, from the Early/ Mid 20 th Century. This rare Antique Opaline Milk Glass Dish. Depicts a well modeled form of a OLD KING COLE MUSTARD JAR, a covered dish. Has impressed on the bottom front COURONNE DE DIJON, or the crown of Dijon. He stands on his own, with a lively stance very expressive face. Is mold formed pressed glass, well modeled in deep relief with very good design and detail, and is white in color. Has a fitted rim between top and bottom, notched for a snug fit. Is in a very nice small size. Is listed in "THE MILK GLASS BOOK", by Chiarenza and Slater. Tall x 2.8 In.

Wide x 2.8 In. The estimated date is circa 1933. The Opaline Milk Glass OLD KING COLE MUSTARD JAR Covered Dish is in good condition- there is a loss to one tip of the crown.
