RARE VTG'GOLDEN HARVEST' 23 pieces TEA SET/ USA/ FEDERAL GLASS Co, 1950s
RARE VINTAGE FEDERAL GLASS Co.'GOLDEN HARVEST'' TEA SET OF DINNERWARE / MADE IN USA/ CIRCA 1950s. Up for sale these lovely milk glass dinnerware in a Golden Harvest design with gold trim was made by the Federal Glass Company in the late 1950's early 1960's and is marked with the F in a Shield / HEAT PROOF / USA on the bottom. The company was founded in 1900, originally producing mouth-blown, etched glass, but converting to mass produced manufacturing in the 1920s. They closed down approximately 1979.
There are 23 pieces in all to the set, beautifully done with the golden design on a white background, the set could be used every day and dresses up any Holiday table, a n addition to any Vintage Kitchen or Federal Glass Collection. 7-saucers that measure 5 3/4 inches in diameter. 7-cups that measure 2 1/2 inches high and 3 3/4 inches across the rim. 7-small fruit/dessert bowls that measure 1 3/4 inches high and 5 inches across the rim. 1- open sugar bowl, that measures 4 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide.
1-creamer that measures 2 3/4 inches high and 4 3/4 inches, spout to handle. Set is in good vintage condition without chips, cracks or. Crazing and nice vibrant colors. There are some slight marks, some signs of age but otherwise in. Please look at pictures for more details.
