Vintage Fenton BLUE MILK GLASS PEDESTAL OPEN LATTICE FRUIT BOWL COMPOTE-RARE

  

This is a vintage Fenton fruit bowl made in the United States in 1950. The bowl is made of blue milk glass and has an open lattice design with a pedestal base.

It has a round shape and a Victorian style with a glossy finish. The bowl is 9.25 inches in diameter and 7.25 inches in height, weighing 2.2 pounds. It is part of the Laced Edge product lines. The care instructions recommend hand washing only.

I have only seen a handful like this one, a few times since. It has no chips, cracks, broken pieces and is still shiny and the color is vibrant. It is a beautiful statement piece for any vintage milk glass collector. On occasion I have missed something.
