Vintage Fenton 12 Silver Crest Violets In The Snow Vase w / Ferns
Violets in the Snow, 12Melon Vase. The Silver Crest is clear and sparkling, and i t is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches, repairs. Artist Louise Piper joined Fenton as a decorating artist when Fenton re-established its Decorating Dept. And her first hand-painted decoration was Violets in the Snow, debuting in July 1968. This particular vase is quite rare, since it has the large dark violets and fern sprigs which were on only the early Louise Piper pieces.
As time passes and more people are collecting them, they are becoming much more difficult to find in excellent-mint condition. Resources:'FENTON A-Z', John Walk, pg.
